AI BG Remover

Privacy Policy

How the background editor handles photos, Google sign-in, cookies, and optional AI requests, plus how to ask for access to or deletion of account data.

What This Policy Covers

This policy explains what happens to your photos and other information when you use this website. Basic photo editing runs in your browser. Account sign-in and optional AI requests involve our servers and service providers.

Photos and AI Backgrounds

Manual touch-ups, cropping, compositing, and downloads run in your browser. The homepage uses local background removal. Uploading on the Image Background Remover or White Photo page starts an online AI edit: the decoded photo is sent through our server to our AI provider. We strip image metadata before sending. The source is processed in memory; our saved task record contains an image digest rather than the source file. Returned images and task records are stored for result retrieval. Download your result before closing the tab or replacing your photo.

AI background suggestions and background-only generation send your text description, requested dimensions, model choice, and request ID for processing; that workflow does not send your photo. AI edits on the Image Background Remover and White Photo pages send the photo as explained above. A necessary cookie links requests and saved results to your browser. Account records, usage limits, and credits apply. Provider-side processing and retention are subject to the provider’s practices.

Two different paths for photos and text

  2. Server and AI serviceSent through our server to an AI provider
  3. Retrieve a backgroundResults and requests are stored
Local homepage edits keep photos on your device. AI image tools upload your selected photo; text-only background requests send your description and settings.

Local edits and stored AI requests

A photo selected for ordinary editing and a background returned by the optional AI service follow different paths. The working photo stays in browser memory. Closing the tab, resetting the editor, or selecting another image can discard unsaved work. A finished download is a separate file on your device, so save it before leaving the page.

Generated backgrounds and their request records are stored so the editor can retrieve results. Closing the editing tab is not an instruction to delete those server records. A browser cookie links requests to the browser; clearing that cookie is also different from deleting information held by the service. This distinction matters when you decide which feature to use or describe a privacy request.

Save the result before closing, resetting, or replacing the photo. A working edit in a browser tab is not a saved download.

What Information We Collect

The information we handle depends on which features you use:

  1. Account Information — Basic editing does not need an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address, email verification status, and profile picture to create and identify your account. Google handles your password. We do not receive it or request access to Gmail or Google Drive. Signing in is separate from opening a local photo. The account information identifies the signed-in user; it is not a copy of the image being edited.
  2. Usage Data — When analytics are enabled, they may collect page visits and feature interactions to help us understand how the site is used. Error and request records also help us investigate failures and enforce usage limits. Using the editor without an account does not mean the website receives no requests. Loading pages or requesting an optional AI background can still involve usage or request records.
  3. Device Information — Browser, operating system, and device details may be recorded in session or usage data, or included in a support message you send. We use them to investigate errors and compatibility problems. For example, knowing that a download failed on a phone in a particular browser can help distinguish a browser issue from a problem with the chosen image format.
  4. Cookies — We use signed, HTTP-only session cookies to keep you signed in. Active sessions last up to 30 days and refresh when you use the site. Logging out ends your current session but does not delete your account. For account security, session records may include your IP address and browser details. We also use a necessary cookie to connect AI background requests to your browser and enforce usage limits.
  5. Payment Information — When you purchase an available plan or credit pack, Stripe processes your payment details. We store the order, amount, currency, payment status, Stripe references, and subscription dates needed to deliver credits and handle billing support. We do not store your full card number or security code.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Run the website, maintain accounts, and provide the features you request.
  • Confirm payments, deliver credits, record subscription periods, and handle billing questions or refunds.
  • Send technical notices, service updates, and security alerts.
  • Review feedback and answer your questions or support requests.
  • Enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and protect against security threats.

When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

  • With providers that host the website, support sign-in or analytics, process photos for AI cutouts, or process text descriptions for AI backgrounds, as needed for those services.
  • When required by law, valid court orders, or lawful requests from public authorities.
  • To investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, and safety of our service, users, and the public.

How We Protect Your Information

Account access uses Google sign-in and protected sessions. Access controls restrict who can reach account data. These measures reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee the security of every transmission or stored record.

Your Data Rights

You can request access, corrections, export, or deletion of your account information by emailing suport@aibgremoverfree.com from the address linked to your account. To protect your security, we may ask you to confirm account ownership before completing your request.

State which account or feature your request concerns and what you want to access, correct, export, or delete. A question about a locally edited photo is different from a request about a Google-linked account or an AI background request. You do not need to attach the original photo to explain that difference.

Choices you can make before editing

The homepage offers local background removal and ordinary editing without signing in. The dedicated White Photo page uses online AI processing and the displayed credit cost. Choosing an existing background photo does not turn the edit into a text-generation request. If you choose optional AI generation, describe the setting you need without including names, addresses, or other personal details that are unnecessary for the picture.

On a shared device, download to a location you intend to use and sign out if you signed in. Signing out ends the current session; it does not remove your account or a downloaded file. If you want help with stored account information, make that request directly using the contact details below.

Describe the problem first. Your first message does not need the original photo or sensitive account details.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy when the service or its information-handling practices change. We record revisions with the date at the top of this page and provide a notice through the service for material changes where appropriate.

How to Contact Us

For a privacy question or request, email suport@aibgremoverfree.com. Include the page or feature involved and what you would like us to check.

If the question concerns an AI background, say that you used the optional generation feature. If it concerns an account, use the address linked to that account where possible. Include only the details needed to explain your request; do not send passwords or sign-in codes.
